Dear BPS Community,

I hope this communication finds you and your loved ones well. At noon today Governor Baker announced the closure of all Massachusetts schools through the remainder of the school year. Barnstable Public Schools will remain in our remote learning mode for the remainder of the school year. We know that continued remote learning asks much of our families, and we will soon seek your feedback through a survey to learn more about how we can best support students and families.  We value the partnership with our families and caregivers, and will continue to work together to support the needs of all Barnstable students. In the days ahead, please watch for our announcement regarding the next phase of the BPS Remote Learning Plan, which will include a focus on new content within particular learning standards from the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.

Sincerely,
Dr. Meg Mayo-Brown, Superintendent of Schools
