As the situation with the COVID-19 virus continues to develop we would like to remind members of the public that it may not be necessary to come into the station to conduct business or request reports.

In order to help keep as many people healthy as possible please consider the following alternatives to coming in:

Records and reports can be requested by calling our records division Monday – Friday at 508-775-5466, or by fax at 508-790-0062, or by sending a message through Facebook messenger to the attention of our Records Division. You can also send an email by going to our website, www.barnstablepolice.com. Click on the link for the Records Division and then the send email option.

You can also call our main number at 508-775-0387 and selecting 8 to speak with our dispatch center. Most minor reports or incidents may be able to be handled over the phone and an officer may be able to assist you.

If you are unsure if you need to come in to the station, please call ahead and speak to one of our other staff members. They will be able to assist you and help determine if you do need to come in and set up an appointment if necessary.

As always, if you have an emergency….DIAL 911.
